Communities Will Help Design Climate Support
The project focuses on shared loss and mental wellbeing.
Adelaide University researchers are developing a toolkit for mental distress connected to climate-related loss. Changes to landscapes, ecosystems and cultural places can affect identity and community wellbeing.
The team plans to work with communities, organizations and mental health representatives. The project began in August 2026 and is expected to produce practical guidance and policy recommendations by 2031.
