Businesses Share Workplace Ideas
Policies can help women remain and progress in employment.
A workshop organized by UN Women Bangladesh and AYAT Care brought together 24 participants to discuss the Women's Empowerment Principles. The meeting focused on practical changes that businesses can make.
Examples included parental leave, flexible work after maternity leave and more supportive management. The discussion stressed that hiring women is only one step; workplaces must also help them stay and move into leadership.
