Switzerland Leads Innovation List
A new report also shows that AI receives a large share of investment.
The World Intellectual Property Organization studied innovation in 139 economies. Switzerland was first in its 2026 list. Sweden, the United States, South Korea and Singapore followed.
The report says artificial intelligence is changing investment. AI companies received more than half of global venture capital value in 2025. WIPO also found more than 30,000 new companies working with deep science.
