More Countries Help Older People
A new report shows progress, but more money and care are needed.
The World Health Organization shared a new report about healthy ageing. More countries now have laws against unfair treatment because of age. More than half have national plans for long-term care.
However, many countries still do not have enough money for this work. Only about 23 percent can follow older people's health over time. WHO says countries need better data, care and investment before 2030.
