Netflix announced Other Worlds: A Stranger Things Adventure on November 6. The live-action series is planned for 2028 and will introduce new heroes and villains.

Its story takes place in the 1950s, before the original Stranger Things series. Kate Trefry will lead the production, and Joe Wright will direct the first three episodes.
