Read the story

Storm Boelo continued to affect the UK on October 25. Amber wind warnings covered Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland and northern England.

The Met Office forecast easing winds and showers overnight in the north. Conditions were still unsettled on Sunday; the predicted improvement did not mean an immediate end to the storm.
