Paris Pull Away after Barcelona Fight Back

Name: __________________________ Date: __________________

Read the story

Barcelona twice answered a PSG lead in Tuesday’s Champions League match. Xavi Espart and Lamine Yamal scored their equalisers.

Paris then moved ahead through Vitinha, before Fabián Ruiz completed the 4–2 victory. The result keeps PSG’s winning start intact.

An equaliser removes a lead rather than creating one. Barcelona therefore recovered twice without taking the lead. A final score summarises the outcome, but the sequence explains why that outcome was uncertain during play.
